Many of the challenges faced in Lebanon can best be met through cooperating and collaborating with local and international NGOs, government bodies, and private companies. Animals Lebanon actively pursues partnerships that improve the effectiveness of our work, and much of our success has been through the collaboration with partners. If you feel your company or organization meets the values of Animals Lebanon and are interested in a mutually beneficial partnership we want to hear from you.

World Society for the Protection of Animals
In October 2008, Animals Lebanon became an official member society of WSPA. With consultative status at the United Nations and the Council of Europe, WSPA is the world's largest alliance of animal welfare societies.

Société Général de Banque au Liban

SGBL has been a supporter of Animals Lebanon since its founding.  SGLB is the main sponsor of our annual Gala, and is now supporting our campaign to enact national animal welfare legislation.

Middle East Network for Animal Welfare
In November 2008, Animals Lebanon was welcomed as a member society of MENAW. MENAW promotes the exchange of information and is a networking forum among animal welfare societies in the Middle East.

World Animal Day
In January 2009, Lana El-Khalil, the President of Animals Lebanon, became Lebanon's World Animal Day Ambassador. Started in 1931, it is now widely celebrated throughout the world.

Mix FM

Worldwide Veterinary Service

In March 2009, Animals Lebanon became registered with Worldwide Veterinary Service. The WVS works to provide a sustainable veterinary resource to help animal organizations around the world.

 

International Organization for Animal Protection
In July 2010, Animals Lebanon became a league member of OIPA, the International Organization for Animal Protection. The OIPA is a non governmental organization affiliated to the UN Department of Public Information.

Stichting WereldAsielen

Based in the Netherlands, has generously supported many of Animals Lebanon's rescues, ensuring animals find a permanent home or sanctuary.
